Steel-bonded carbide wire guide roller, also known as wire guiding and clamping roller,is the main consumable spare part on the bar and wire rolling equipment in the steel field. During the rolling process, the red steel rod can smoothly enter the wheel groove to prevent steel from winding and tail flicking. When the high-speed wire speed is 110 m/s, the speed of the guide wheel reaches more than 50,000 rpm, and the surface temperature reaches 800-1100 ºC.
 

Features

1. High hardness (hardness can reach HRC65 after quenching and tempering), due to the low friction coefficient and good self-lubrication of titanium carbide grains, it is resistant to wear and is not easy to produce cracks;
2. Lighter weight, good acceleration performance, the guide roller accelerates from static to 30,000 rpm without damaging the bearing;
3. Thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance, good toughness and long service life (the service life is 8-10 times that of high chromium cast iron and Cr12MoV);
4. Less magnetic, it’s not easy to be bonded by metal, non-stick to steel, and will not scratch the billet;
5. Turning, milling, planing, drilling, grinding can be used to machine them,means they can be used many times after repairing.
6. The thermal expansion coefficient is close to that of steel, and the bearing will not be stuck during rapid cooling and rapid heating.
7. Compared with tungsten-cobalt cemented carbide, the density of steel alloy is low, about 6.5g/cm3, which has a good cost performance advantage.
